Estonia Youth Mission 2017

A team of 19 high school teens and youth leaders will be traveling to Tallinn, Estonia from June 30-July 15. We will have the chance to partner with the church in Tallinn to share the gospel story and our personal faith with Estonians who don’t yet know Jesus. We will work with different age groups (kids to young adults) running programs that include games, singing, Bible lessons, teaching English, and discussions about Jesus. Your prayer and financial support are appreciated!

A Mother’s Greatest Gift – Shared by Brian Taylor

May 15, 2018

Brian Taylor shared this encouragement for parenting with me (Hope) and I wanted to pass it on you.   Of all of the things that we prioritize in our life, a desire for God should be the one that consumes our heart.   May your parenting days be happy ones as you look to the future and ... Life Experience by Daryll Bien

February 17, 2018

I had the good fortune of being raised in a Christian home and family. There are tremendous advantages that can be gained by living in the environment of a good Christian home. However; not all good Christian practices and customs are engrained in a person by mere observation. My parents were very committed to and active ... Read More->

To Our Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, When we started the whole ordeal of biopsies and diagnoses 10 months ago, the unknowns piled up. Is it cancer? Will Trina live? To see her kids graduate? Her grandkids? The summer? How does a family even function without the rock who is wife and mother? And as ... Read More->

The Start of Christmas in Marlborough

December 3, 2017

Earlier this year, the staff read through the book, “When Helping Hurts”. Jonathan suggested this book as an answer to the question, “What do we do next with our friends from Feeding the Hungry lunches?” The book is a really good one, sometimes discouraging to read as we evaluate our failure and lack of progress, ... Prayer – Kelly Carter

September 10, 2017

Not until I had been in full-time church ministry for over two-decades did I feel confident enough to preach through Romans. And, then, at that, I may have jumped the gun. It was like when I fell the large Spruce in my backyard; would things at the end lie where I wished them to lie, ... Read More->

Prayer Requests

Some specific things you can be praying for:

  • That we will be able to successfully raise the remaining money we need for the trip.
  • That God will be working in the hearts and lives of the Estonian people we will interact with during our two weeks there, so they will be open to hearing the gospel message we will be sharing.
  • That the trip will touch the lives of the teens and leaders from the Calgary Church of Christ, so that they will grow in their relationships with God as they see him working in new and exciting ways.
